LoveABQ is our church’s ministry to the practical needs of our city. By addressing the four pain points of poverty, homelessness, addiction, and human trafficking, we’re meeting Jesus right where He said we’d find Him — in the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, and those in need. Through strategic partnerships and hands-on involvement, we’re not just helping people survive; we’re creating pathways for our neighbors to thrive. This isn’t just about charity; it’s about changing lives in Jesus’ name.

Childhood hunger
Feed New Mexico Kids
Feed NM Kids fights childhood hunger across New Mexico — one weekend food bag at a time. Thousands of kids rely on school meals as their primary source of food, but weekends often leave them without.
Transitional housing · Phase 1
Home Together & New Creation ABQ
Reimagining what hope looks like for people experiencing homelessness. They offer safe, government-approved Phase 1 transitional communities including tent housing, gated access, showers, laundry, and on-site services.
Transitional housing · Phase 2
Mesilla Recovery
Phase 2 transitional housing through a 32-unit apartment facility for individuals who have completed initial recovery or emergency shelter programs and are ready for the next step in stability.
Sober living · Discipleship
Next Step Ministries
A Bible-based sober living program for men. Shared housing and a structured path toward recovery — daily routines, group discipleship, and counseling as residents work to rebuild their lives.
Anti-trafficking · Awareness · Restoration
For The One
Dedicated to preventing, rescuing, and restoring the lives of those affected by human trafficking and exploitation. School assemblies, city-wide awareness events, and campaigns like Vulnerable No More.

Sundays + Tuesdays
Food Bag Ministry
Food bags for anyone in need on Sundays and Tuesdays. We use a voucher system; vouchers are available at the info center or from a host team member at any service.
In partnership with Feed NM Kids
Weekend Food Bags for Kids
Volunteers help prepare weekend food bags for students who might otherwise go hungry when school meals aren’t available — a simple way to remind kids they are seen, valued, and never forgotten.
Each November
Thanksgiving Outreach
A Thanksgiving Meal Box drive-thru that brightens the holiday for families in need. Last year we served 200 families — every year we aim to do more.
Each December
Christmas Outreach
Volunteers choose, shop for, and deliver Christmas gifts and care packages for BC families and community children facing financial hardship.
On the streets of Albuquerque
Mobile Outreach Team
Mobile teams go directly to people experiencing homelessness with food, hygiene kits, and prayer. More than meeting physical needs — building trust and opening hearts to the love of Jesus.
